- BYOD Classroom: Villanova University is a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) campus. All faculty are required to provide their own laptop/device power supply and A/V adapter to connect to campus A/V systems.
- DUO: The University requires multifactor authentication to access all web-based Villanova resources when community members are not on campus, including campus systems, email, and Office 365. If you are connected to Villanova’s network while on-campus, no multifactor authentication will be needed. Visit the Office of Information Security’s DUO page for more information about DUO and multifactor authentication as well as an inclusive list of all affected applications.
- Nova Alert: NOVA Alert delivers important emergency alerts, notifications, and updates to any mobile device or email you choose to register. When an incident or emergency occurs, authorized senders will notify you.

- Advise for Faculty: A faculty member can express concern for a student by going to the Advise for Faculty tile on MyNova. Simply select a student to begin submitting an alert. This submission will automatically generate an email to the student’s primary academic advisor and engage the appropriate academic colleges’ support networks. This act of concern for a student could make the difference in their academic success at Villanova.
